Taj Rambagh Palace

JAIPUR, RAJASTHAN

Hailed as the stunning ‘Jewel of Jaipur’, the Taj Rambagh is a palace of transitions. It was built in 1835 to be the home to the queen’s favourite handmaidens, changed into a royal guesthouse and hunting lodge, and finally became the residence of the Maharaja Sawai Mansingh II and his queen Maharani Gayatri Devi.

The Rambagh Palace is synonymous with royalty and luxury. The hotel is open to guests and has seventy-six restored rooms and a grand suite which bears the charm of a Maharaja’s life. The palace complex overflows with glory and splendour, decorated with geometric latticework or jaalis, accompanied by sandstone balustrades, cupolas and cenotaphs, and elaborate Mughal gardens.
Taj Rambagh Palace is blessed with Rajasthan’s royal heritage and houses the finest restaurants in Jaipur. Feast on world cuisine in the former palace ballroom decorated with massive chandeliers or drink wine under the stars in an open-air restaurant.
The spa experience envelops your mind and body in the ancient tradition of wellness. Find harmony between the elements through yoga and meditation. Let the mind and body relax to a masseuse’s nimble fingers during the signature treatments and therapies.
Rambagh Jaipur has hosted Lord Louis Mountbatten, Prince Charles, and Jacqueline Kennedy among several illustrious guests and is an excellent place to experience the grandeur of Rajput hospitality.
